Biography

Firas Zegallai is a dual-qualified corporate lawyer (New York and England & Wales) with extensive experience advising on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, insurance, and corporate structuring across the UAE and wider Middle East.
Firas has advised a range of local and international clients across sectors including real estate, healthcare, retail, energy, and insurance. His practice focuses on complex cross-border transactions, where he regularly leads due diligence exercises and drafts and negotiates key transaction documents, including share purchase agreements and shareholders’ agreements.
Firas holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Banking and Financial Law from Boston University School of Law, where he studied on academic scholarship, and an LL.B. from the University of Kent. He is admitted to the New York Bar and is fluent in Arabic and English. Firas is recognized for his pragmatic approach, responsiveness, and ability to deliver commercially focused legal solutions.
