Biography

Charbel (Charles) Dersahakian is the Managing Partner of CVML. He oversees the firm’s strategy, growth, and client portfolio across a diverse regional and international practice.
With more than two decades of experience in the UAE legal market, he brings both technical expertise and a pragmatic understanding of how law, business, and regulation converge in one of the world’s most competitive jurisdictions.
His career spans senior roles in government and multinational corporations.
He has advised government and semi-government entities, blue-chip multinationals, and high-growth SMEs on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, from mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures to regulatory compliance and electronic transactions.
Charles has also contributed to the drafting of key laws and regulations, underscoring his ability to shape both high-stakes transactions and the wider legal framework in which they operate.
