Biography

Alejandra is a seasoned private client practitioner specializing in international succession planning, asset protection, and corporate structuring for legacy and wealth preservation. A full STEP member since 2020 and contributor to the STEP Arabia Committee, she brings deep regional expertise and a strong grasp of the UAE’s legal landscape. Alejandra advises high-net-worth individuals on family governance and succession, including wills, prenuptial agreements, and the setup of trusts, foundations, and special purpose vehicles. Her approach is strategic and empathetic, tailored to long-term client needs. She also supports corporate clients on commercial and transactional matters, with expertise in drafting shareholder agreements, SPAs, employment contracts, agency and distribution agreements, and commercial leases. Alejandra frequently speaks on succession and cross-border planning, with recent publications featured on Lexology. She holds a Degree in Law and a double Master’s in Law and International Relations from the University of Geneva and the Graduate Institute, and passed the Bar Exam in Geneva in 2013. Her working languages are English, French and Spanish. Prior to joining CVML, she gained cross-border experience at leading law firms in Switzerland and the UAE, earning a reputation for precision, discretion, and a client-first mindset.
